I was born to a BlackClan queen named Darkheart, and a Loner named Viper. Darkheart gave me to Viper at birth, along with my littermates; Fire, Leopard and Cougar. Viper gave me to a rogue queen since he could not take care of us. The queen renamed me and Fire; Badger and Blood. We where raised until we could walk on our own. She left us at BlackClan border. Leopard went missing that night and Cougar was killed by a StormClan warrior. We where later found by the dawn patrol with Spotpaw and her mentor. They gave us a chance into Clan life and we took it. The Clan leader renamed us Badgerkit and Firekit. Our mother was happy to nurse us.
I became Badgerpaw a few days too early since the leader was sick and demanded a ceremony. My mentor was Spotnose. My sister and I trained hard to prove that the leader would not regret his decision. A moon or two later, Spotnose reported a fresh badger set. Firepaw and I snuck out to prove us worthy to become warriors early as well. The battle was horrible. Firepaw lost her life in it. I lost sight in my left eye and I was scarred badly everywhere. I almost lost sight in my right eye as well. I thought I died in the battle since I slept for eight days. Darkshadow helped me along the way to find myself and to use my blind left eye to an advantage.
I was later renamed Scarclaw by the leader. I did not know who I was. Darkshadow received his first apprentice as well. A few days later, the badger attacked. Taking Spotnose and Ravenpaw's lives. Spotnose was deputy then. The leader named Darkshadow deputy. A moon later, the Clan leader died, giving Darkshadow full authority to the Clan. Darkstar later asked me to be his mate. I said yes.
